Little Miss Maia Likes to Read (and pretend to blow her nose)

Progress Report: 14 Months

This month was full of exciting things! First, Mommy and Daddy went away in an airplane and I got to stay with Babcia and Opa for a few days. They took me to meet the Chief of Police and the Easter Bunny, and let me stay up late.

Then when Mommy and Daddy got home we went to see the Easter Bunny again, only they thought it was my first time. Now they know why I was so excited when I saw him!

This month I've been working on this walking thing. I've taken a few steps by myself, but mostly I like to walk holding hands with somebody. Don't worry, I'll show you exactly where I want to go--you better listen, too!

Pretty soon I'm going to be ready to let go...watch out!
Other than that, it's just the usual mischief.



I am learning so many new words! Here's a list of all the words I can say:

I like the songs "Little Bunny Foo Foo" and "Itsy Bitsy Spider", and I ask for them to be sung to me by showing you the moves.

I also really like watching "Blues Clues" in the morning while Mommy and I get ready for the day. Daddy can make sounds like Blue, it's so funny!

Little Miss Maia Meets the Easter Bunny

Yesterday Mommy and Daddy took me to the mall to meet the Easter Bunny. I spotted him with the other kids while we were waiting in line and I was very excited for my turn. Once I got on his lap I got very serious but I finally smiled a little bit.
Then, this morning, I saw what he brought me!

He even left me some bunny ears!
Daddy got pretty silly with them...
I also got a little chick that hops...maybe someday I'll get a real live one??
