Progress Report: 7 Months

Whoa! Can I really be 7 months old already? This month has gone by so fast. To commemorate this occasion, here are some adorable pictures of me taken in the last month (of course, they're all adorable, I know).

Don't mess with Little Miss Maia!

I was lucky to get to see lots of people who love me this month!

Of course, there's Dada, whose name I say all the time now.
Aunt Maggie, who I would love to see more of.
Grandpa Ken, teaching me to be a Cubs fan.
Grandma Ellie giving me a big hug.

Here's Opa mediating the baby-face off between me and cousin Maddie.
I got to see my Great-Auntie Dawn too.
Here are all the girls--Cousins Cory, Julia, Jaime, and Maddie with me and Mommy.
Here I am thanking Uncle Butch for all the presents he brings me.
And I made sure to play some music for G.G.!

And here I am with Babchi, trying to get her jewelry. Luckily she has lots of other things for me to play with at her house!

And here I am getting piggyback rides from Daddy and Mommy.
This month I've tried a bunch of new foods. My favorites are bananas, yogurt, apples, sweet potatoes, and squash. Mommy and Daddy have started letting me feed myself sometimes. They gave me these fun things called cheerios. I thought they were just for playing with but it turns out you can eat them, too! Here's a video of me learning about cheerios.

See you next month!

7 month stats: 20 lbs 5 oz, wearing size 12 month clothes already.

Little Miss Maia 3:16

Little Miss Maia Doolittle

Oh boy, it's been a while since I posted! I guess I've just been having so much fun that the time has really flown by.

Lately I've been getting to know some of our furry family friends a little bit better. I get really excited when the dog or one of the cats comes near. I am lucky that one of our cats, Bisoux, is so desperate for attention that he doesn't care what I do to him, he sticks around anyway.

Whether it's grabbing his head...

Pulling his fur...

Or a little of both...

He doesn't even seem to mind when I try to eat him.

He just hangs out and sometimes we have a little chat, too.

Now, cats are cool and everything, but I really go nuts for dogs. Two weeks ago Mommy took me to visit Grandma Ellie, Grandpa Ken, and Aunt Maggie. I had SO much fun with their dog, Harley! Here are some pictures of me playing with Harley and Aunt Maggie.

I tried to eat him, too.

He was very protective and laid near me while I played on the floor. I heard he was pretty happy when I left, though. He's used to being the baby at his house!
Take a look at the way Harley made me laugh.

I hope I get to visit him again soon! I guess it would be nice to see Grandma Ellie, Grandpa Ken, and Aunt Maggie too...
